First of all, why did I choose this silly domain name that makes no sense at all? Well… it’s rater simple – Urlund is my surname. My first name is Henrik – Henri in french, Heinrich in german, but i guess there is no reasonable way to pronounce it in english. I was born in 1981 in a rather “small” town in Denmark.

I live with my girlfriend Dorte, and together we have a son, born in 2010.

I’ve been around some various educations in my time, but I found the right place when I started Computer Science back in 2007. Before that I used alot of time challenging myself with all sorts of projects, most of them never turned out to be that usefull, but i learned alot from it, so i wasn’t what you would call a newbie.

What I Do

Along with my education, AP in Computer Science, I gained alot of usefull knowledges about programming techniques which gives me the ability understand and use different kind of programming languages and “tools”. These are the once I use the most:

Most of the work i do on a daily basis, is done with use of PHP. I work in a company where we are hosting TYPO3 websites. My job is basicly internal development based on the Unix platform.

When creating CMS soultions, I use:

• WordPress
• TYPO3

Futher more I’ve come around some various API’s, etc.:

• SOAP WebService (used with e-conomic)
• XML-RPC (used with Parallels Plesk)

I started my freelance business back in 2008, primarily as TYPO3 consultancy, but later on it spread to many other interesting tasks.
